I stopped going to the art house theatres years ago when I saw ZERO storytelling abilities in those movies. walked out on a movie that spent 7 MINUTES in real time, following the protagonist moving through haze with ZERO interaction... mind you, camera was behind him the whole time

If I could give one pointer, in good spirits, if you put a highlight diffusion right in front of the sun beam it will look less sharp but still mantain the cut-beam quality. This gives a more natural sun beam as the shadow edges are a bit softer.

Would you buy an EL or an Arriflex SR2 these days if they were the same price? SR2 generally a better camera but the compact form factor of the EL is hard to beat?
